I grew up in Calcutta (India), and I graduated from IIT Madras (Chennai, India) with a B.Tech in Materials Engineering in 2010. I have worked across multiple sectors with organizations like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Deloitte Consulting, and Foundation for Democratic Reforms (Hyderabad, India).
I am a co-founder of Friends of Kasam, a non-profit registered in Pittsburgh (PA) dedicated to support the education of underprivileged children in Kasam (Tamil Nadu, India).
Interests
Food, as long as it does/did not move. Family. Politics. Policy. Yoga. Running. Dance. Baking (all hail the Bake Off!). More Food.
I am a politics (and policy) junkie, and love to engage in conversations from a wide variety of perspectives. Yoga, writing, running, and dancing are my release, along with donning the chef hat every once in a while to lure friends over.

The first half-marathon! Pittsburgh, May 2018.

The first full one! Philly, November 2019.
